All Brown Aerospace drilling systems are designed to meet the torque, thrust, and speed requirements necessary for quality, precision holes. Diametral tolerances of +/-.0005" and countersink depths of +/-.001" are achieved through sound engineering principles and innovative technology. We provide systems for drill-only,  drill-fasten, and sealant application.

Integrated Systems

Brown Aerospace provides integrated production systems including everything from mechanical, controls, and electrical design to offline programming, on site commissioning, and production assistance.

Motion Platforms

Brown Aerospace motion platforms are designed to achieve maximum functionality and ease of use while providing a product that requires minimum maintenance and low levels of operator training. Special requirements such as portable platforms are custom designed and matched to the specific application.

End Effectors

Brown Aerospace End Effectors are designed to accommodate a wide variety of specific needs, including space constraints, coolant delivery, and chip vacuum systems. This expansive functionality combined with state of the art vision systems and constant, monitored pressure on the drilling surface allows us to achieve very precise,  near-burless drilling in most surfaces and conditions.

Controls

By using either a Brown Aerospace or vendor HMI, we create customized, application-specific software for all of our systems. This provides the user with critical feedback in an organized manner, which allows our products to be monitored closely to ensure production operations flow smoothly.

Offline Programming

Our integrated systems can receive data directly from CAD systems via offline programming modules, which generate the inverse kinematics required to drive the machine locations and vectors.
